Extensive experience in nonprofit innovation and augmentation with a visionary bent. Proposed an economic development plan for Santa Cruz based on the tourist industry–Ecotopia for the ecotourist, with the ultimate agenda of solving the problem of homelessness in Santa Cruz with set-aside revenues from gross proceeds. Plan involves a seventeen mile circle walking and biking trail encompassing the West Side of Santa Cruz to unify the Greenbelt, signed on National Trail Day, June, l995, sponsored by National Parks and Trails; the Ecology Hall of Fame (in the planning stage); the Ecotopia Center, to be built in downtown Santa Cruz, to conjoin the high tech industry with the environmental movement, with a special emphasis on computer simulated environmental remediation (CSER), in collaboration with Ralph Abraham and the Visual Math Institute; electric vehicle development (bikes and autos); eco-village, eco-homes, design and implementation for energy conservation and sustainability.
